Episode #46: Treating The Underlying Causes Of Disease With Nutrition And Functional Medicine

Episode #46: The Beauty Of Nutrition And Functional Medicine On The Underlying Causes Of DiseasesEvery person has their own story to tell about their fitness journeys, and it’s important to respect the path that every individual decides to take. However, it is quite disturbing that some people see food as their enemy. Healing the body’s own internal systems is only possible through and nutrition and self care.

My guest Kelsey Marksteiner and I talk about healing and fat loss in this week’s podcast. Kelsey is a registered dietitian specializing in nutrient-dense, whole food diets. She graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and completed her dietetic internship at Milford Regional Medical Center in Milford, Massachusetts. She also has a Master of Science degree in Nutrition and Functional Medicine from the University of Western States. Giving high value to functional medicine, Kelsey recommends individualized dietary therapy focusing on biologically-appropriate diet principles to help her clients lose weight, gain energy, and pursue continued health.
